They followed with the critically acclaimed A Knife in Your Hand in 2021, featuring powerhouse drummer Tony Machete, who took their sound to an even harder, more primal edge. Along the way, SLOKS' fierce dedication to gritty garage rock earned them spots on two compilations: Mandinga Records' You Didn’t Think We Could Take It! Vol 2, a tribute to Subsonics, and Bomb Your Brain Vol 2 on Pigmè Records.In 2023, SLOKS evolved once more with a new lineup that introduced Rudy “Red” Valentine (Barsexuals, Los Mofongos) on vocals, bringing an explosive energy and unfiltered edge to their performances.
