Side A detonates with a lightning-fast rocker that’s all adrenaline and snarl, followed by a mid-tempo bruiser that stomps with swagger and menace. Then comes the twist: a warped, dripping organ that oozes over the razor-wire guitars, turning the track into a gloriously unhinged fever dream. &nbsp;<figure id="figure-eykqgrdiom8sqm0t1"><img id="eykqgrdiom8sqm0t1" src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/84YhG5aFIp4YoZv7elnSlueOE5Xvh5Zb8aIxBUaKyAbGxHDFG0BmtxzxSkfyW8Tn.jpg" alt="" title="" class="object-cover bg-gray-100 rounded-sm md:rounded-md lg:rounded-lg" style="aspect-ratio: 1/1; object-position: center center;" data-corners="default" data-aspect="1:1" data-caption="" data-positionx="undefined" data-positiony="undefined" data-fullwidth="false" data-mce-src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/84YhG5aFIp4YoZv7elnSlueOE5Xvh5Zb8aIxBUaKyAbGxHDFG0BmtxzxSkfyW8Tn.jpg" data-mce-style="aspect-ratio: 1/1; object-position: center center;"></figure> &nbsp;Flip the slab, and New Mexico’s Jacket Burner storms in with two tracks of his trademark trash garage punk chaos. Already a cult hero for EPs that hit like a sledgehammer, he delivers again with gritty, lo-fi bangers that fuse distorted riffs with a wild, untamed energy at it's most feral. It’s the sound of a desert punk uprising, and it’s loud as hell. &nbsp;<figure id="figure-w9s5x5i9erm8sqmq27"><img id="w9s5x5i9erm8sqmq27" src="https://cdn.durable.co/covers/22z39EpuRhplXgQShpyTxKzmNYmFBFf3nBgc32CoFg9w9r3Q72XpD7ikNtavZbnr.jpg" alt="" title="" class="object-cover bg-gray-100 rounded-sm md:rounded-md lg:rounded-lg" style="aspect-ratio: 1/1; object-position: center center;" data-corners="default" data-aspect="1:1" data-caption="" data-positionx="undefined" data-positiony="undefined" data-fullwidth="false" data-mce-src="https://cdn.durable.co/covers/22z39EpuRhplXgQShpyTxKzmNYmFBFf3nBgc32CoFg9w9r3Q72XpD7ikNtavZbnr.jpg" data-mce-style="aspect-ratio: 1/1; object-position: center center;"></figure> &nbsp; This 7” is a raw, unfiltered battle cry—pressed on classic black wax and wrapped in a no-nonsense xerox cover, it’s punk rock the way it was always meant to be. Recorded at the legendary Perry Vale Studios with punk rock maestro Pat Collier, the album fuses the grit of The DeRellas’ live-wire performances with a twisted glam-punk edge—think David Lynch’s Blue Velvet meets Rocky Horror Picture Show, spiked with Alice Cooper’s menace and Screamin’ Jay Hawkins’ howl. It’s heartache, hangovers, and pure unfiltered attitude in a single glittering package.<figure id="figure-xce6gavwrtm7tzk30z"><img id="xce6gavwrtm7tzk30z" src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/3bnVu5SCx7BYpXYAM5Ta18kCctsFyNAXppscYLaXNYRl6UIjhdpqQwwF1uoCOpXp.jpg" alt="" title="" class="object-cover bg-gray-100 rounded-sm md:rounded-md lg:rounded-lg" style="aspect-ratio: 1/1; object-position: center center;" data-corners="default" data-aspect="1:1" data-caption="" data-positionx="undefined" data-positiony="undefined" data-fullwidth="false" data-mce-src="https://cdn.durable.co/blocks/3bnVu5SCx7BYpXYAM5Ta18kCctsFyNAXppscYLaXNYRl6UIjhdpqQwwF1uoCOpXp.jpg" data-mce-style="aspect-ratio: 1/1; object-position: center center;"></figure>Classic Rock raves it’s “infused with the spirit of the Heartbreakers, Dead Boys, MC5s—blazing,” while Vive Le Rock calls it “a trash-talking sizzling album.” OriginalRock.net hails it as “another filth-smothered pop-shot winner,” and Louder Than War dubs The DeRellas “the bastard offspring of The Ramones and The Heartbreakers.”<a data-mce-href="https://wegottickets.com/event/644728" href="https://wegottickets.com/event/644728" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Mark your calendars for the album launch gig at The Water Rats, Kings Cross, on Thursday, 10 April 2025, featuring special guests Desperate Measures and Glitter Kick. It’s the first taste of their fifth album, <a data-mce-href="https://thedustaphonics.bandcamp.com/album/gasolina" href="https://thedustaphonics.bandcamp.com/album/gasolina" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-mce-selected="inline-boundary">Gasolina,</a> set to ignite on March 7, 2025, via KingAling Production London.Led by Franco-British mastermind Yvan Serrano (aka DJ Healer Selecta), The Dustaphonics trade the Ramones’ buzzsaw grit for twangy reverb, propulsive rhythms, and a retro-cool edge that nods to Link Wray and Dick Dale while keeping the punk spirit alive. "R.A.M.O.N.E.S." is a high-octane love letter to the leather-jacketed legends—think sun-bleached rebellion meets garage-soul swagger. &nbsp;<figure id="figure-ozdhqvd4pm7tacix7"><img id="ozdhqvd4pm7tacix7" src="https://cdn.durable.co/covers/49XHU3kCoYjXdDPxeOZ9jwksxerXN3DOoOdIx3uXTbDgDkMpyS5Hc4OrZLnBv53b.jpg" alt="" title="" class="object-cover bg-gray-100 rounded-sm md:rounded-md lg:rounded-lg" style="aspect-ratio: 1/1; object-position: center center;" data-corners="default" data-aspect="1:1" data-caption="" data-positionx="undefined" data-positiony="undefined" data-fullwidth="false" data-mce-src="https://cdn.durable.co/covers/49XHU3kCoYjXdDPxeOZ9jwksxerXN3DOoOdIx3uXTbDgDkMpyS5Hc4OrZLnBv53b.jpg" data-mce-style="aspect-ratio: 1/1; object-position: center center;"></figure> The accompanying video amps up the vibe with a kaleidoscope of vintage visuals, frenetic energy, and a nod to the DIY ethos of punk’s golden era.
