The Dustaphonics drop "R.A.M.O.N.E.S." – a surf-charged tribute to The Ramones from forthcoming album Gasolina
London’s sonic renegades, The Dustaphonics, are back with a turbo-charged twist on a punk classic. Their new single and video, "R.A.M.O.N.E.S.," out now, rips the Ramones’ iconic "Beat on the Brat" into the stratosphere with a sizzling instrumental surf-rock makeover. It’s the first taste of their fifth album, Gasolina, set to ignite on March 7, 2025, via KingAling Production London

Led by Franco-British mastermind Yvan Serrano (aka DJ Healer Selecta), The Dustaphonics trade the Ramones’ buzzsaw grit for twangy reverb, propulsive rhythms, and a retro-cool edge that nods to Link Wray and Dick Dale while keeping the punk spirit alive. "R.A.M.O.N.E.S." is a high-octane love letter to the leather-jacketed legends—think sun-bleached rebellion meets garage-soul swagger.

The accompanying video amps up the vibe with a kaleidoscope of vintage visuals, frenetic energy, and a nod to the DIY ethos of punk’s golden era. It’s a wild ride that captures The Dustaphonics’ knack for blending raw power with irresistible groove.

“We wanted to pay homage to the Ramones’ untamed energy but flip it into something fresh and unexpected,” says Serrano. “Surf guitars and a relentless beat felt like the perfect way to crank up the heat.”
Gasolina promises more of The Dustaphonics’ signature sound—gritty garage rock, rhythm & blues, and soulful surf pop—fueled by a rotating lineup of standout vocalists and players. "R.A.M.O.N.E.S." sets the stage for an album that’s as explosive as its title suggests.

Stream R.A.M.O.N.E.S and catch the video on YouTube, and mark your calendars for Gasolina’s full release on March 7, 2025.
