YUYAKESHIWASU Shares "Danger Girl" from His Latest Album Rock 'n' Roll Cult
Celebrated solo artist YUYAKESHIWASU, known for redefining 60s rock 'n' roll with a modern twist, has released his latest track, "Danger Girl," from his third full-length album, Rock 'n' Roll Cult. The album marks a bold new chapter in the artist’s career as he embraces the persona of a rock 'n' roll cult guru, delivering a 28-track opus that blends nostalgic sounds with experimental flair.
Danger Girl captures the rebellious spirit of the album, featuring bold lyrics like, "I'm always a girl on the edge... I don't go with the flow of what's neat and tidy," with a nod to 90s mindset and a refusal to conform. The track celebrates individuality and defiance, as the narrator dances through life with a broken bone and her guitar in hand, unafraid to mix vulgarity with elegance.
Having first risen to fame as the keyboardist and vocalist for Subarashika, YUYAKESHIWASU (an anagram of Yusuke Hayashi) has established himself as a dynamic solo force. As a true multi-instrumentalist, he plays guitar, bass, drums, and more—handling all aspects of recording, mixing, and music video production himself.
Rock 'n' Roll Cult is available now on digital, with physical LPs and 7-inch singles continuing YUYAKESHIWASU's tradition of vinyl releases. Stay tuned for more from this genre-defying artist.
