Turin's Lo-Fi Rockers SLOKS Set to Drop Sophomore Album "VIPER" LP on Goodbye Boozy Records

Alright, you sad sacks of earwax, listen up! SLOKS, the garage punk demons from Turin, Italy, are back to make you question your life choices with their latest LP, "VIPER". Remember 2021? Yeah, that's when they brought in Tony Machete on drums for "A Knife in Your Hand", turning their sound into something resembling a feral cat fight. His savage rhythms? They didn't just push SLOKS forward; they shoved them into a new era of auditory ferocity. 

That's why you found them on compilations like "You Didn’t Think We Could Take It! Vol 2" by Mandinga Records and "Bomb Your Brain Vol 2" by Pigmè Records - because clearly, we can take it, and our brains needed bombing.

But 2023? That's when things got real. They roped in Rudy "Red" Valentine from Barsexuals and Los Mofongos, whose voice sounds like he's been gargling gravel for fun. Then, they strapped on another guitar with Massimo Scocca of Lame and Two Bo’s Maniacs fame, turning the sound into a dual guitar massacre. 

This unholy quartet - Tony Machete, Buddy Fuzz, Massimo Scocca, and Rudy "Red" Valentine - decided to wreak havoc in Toulouse, France, at Swampland Studio. Under the twisted genius of producer Lo Spider, known for his work with Blew-Up!, Destination Lonely, and Dividers, they recorded 13 tracks of pure, unhinged, tape hiss chaos.

"VIPER" is slated to unleash its madness on January 28, 2025, under Goodbye Boozy Records, promising to be your new favorite soundtrack for when you're contemplating the absurdity of existence. Critics say it's "uncompromising loud garage punk and dirty rock'n'roll in its rawest form".
