Muck and the Mires are back with their seventh full-length album, Beat Revolution, a 14-track explosion set to drop on April 25 via Dirty Water Records (London). Leading the charge are their hit radio singles “Cool Imposter” and the title track “Beat Revolution,” backed by 12 fresh, boundary-pushing songs.

On Beat Revolution, the band storms into new territory, blending Powerpop (“Overnight Delivery”), Punk Rock (“Julia’s Got a Boyfriend”), and raw, Nuggets-style Garage Rock (“She’s Too Good For You”). Critics are already buzzing: Real Gone calls “Cool Imposter” one of their strongest tracks yet, with its ‘50s-inspired flair, late ‘60s guitar grit, and an insanely catchy hook.

Faster and Louder hails Beat Revolution as a "rallying cry, channeling ‘64 Beatles with a Ramones-edged twist", while If It’s Too Loud praises its "pure, early garage rock vibe—a sound the world can’t get enough of".

Hailing from Boston, Muck and the Mires fuse the primal energy of Hamburg-era Beatles with the gritty swagger of CBGB’s Ramones. Their global fanbase, built through tireless touring, airplay, and a series of cult-classic recordings, speaks to their staying power.

Produced by legends Kim Fowley and Jim Diamond, the band skyrocketed to fame after winning Little Steven Van Zandt’s national garage band showdown on MTV. Beat Revolution follows their acclaimed album Greetings From Muckingham Palace, which scored a “Coolest Song in the World” nod for “I’m Your Man” on SiriusXM’s Underground Garage.
