Garage-Psych-Fuzz-Core Texas group LABELS drop new VIDEO single 'Void'
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
**Updated** LABELS Announce New EP Live To Revive — new VIDEO 'Void' is out Now!

Fort Worth, TX — Fort Worth garage-punk four-piece LABELS are coming back swinging with a new EP, Live To Revive, dropping via Spaceflight Records this fall — and it starts drawing blood TODAY with lead single video "Void."
UK outlet Joyzine called it a "3-act psych-rock opera" that opens like "Motörhead on a rocket-sled" before exploding into a full-tilt finish.

Call it post-psych-garage-core, if you're into new subgenres nobody asked for — it's the closest thing to a label for what LABELS actually sound like. Picture Ty Segall and Black Flag colliding in some kind of musical time-travel wreck, both eras crashing back into the present and taking the windshield out with them. "Void" is the first gut-punch of several leading into the full EP this fall — and it hits like it means it.
On October 9, LABELS release "Tech Death," the second single from their upcoming EP Live To Revive — and it's a proper banger.
The song is a head-on collision of two worlds: the sprawling, kaleidoscopic prog-psych jamming of Oh Sees and King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, pushed through a robotic tone and techy riffs, then driven straight through the band's own freak-out hardcore instincts. It's the sound of a band that clearly isn't interested in picking a lane.
The idea behind the song is just as of-the-moment. Technology is attached to everything now, and the band says it's frying our brains. In their words:
"We noticed how everything is associated with technology today, and it makes our brain feel fried. Playing the music we do can hopefully bring people together and live in the moment."
On October 7 — two days before "Tech Death" arrives — the band opens for Jack White at The Bomb Factory in Dallas.

If you haven't caught up with LABELS yet, catch up now or get left behind. Their 2025 album White Hot tore through the DFW scene and didn't bother apologizing, with Fort Worth Weekly calling it the sound of a band "letting the band go bigger, be louder, play faster," their live intensity "dialed into explosive territory." ImAFanOf went further, naming it "without question — LABELS' best release so far," while AHippiesLullaby called it "undeniably punk and undeniably burning up the DFW music scene... an experience you will not regret."
Live To Revive doesn't ease off that momentum — it puts a boot on it. Four albums deep since 2021, LABELS have spent every release getting louder, faster, and meaner, a career trajectory best described as allergic to restraint. This one doesn't knock. It kicks the door down.
